My Fred and I can spot a chantrelle in a heartbeat! We've made some wondeful risotto from those lovely shrooms found right in our own yard! Love hearing about you becoming a certified naturalist!
Wow, congratulations on your becoming! I so enjoyed your sketches from your hikes. Gave me a tinge of inspiration to want to try my hand at sketching. We hike with a group called Trail Blazers through the Sandy Springs Conservancy once a month. We explore parks & trails in our city or nearby cities and led by a a knowledgeable guide. By the way we got to taste a Chanterelle from our own yard for the first time a few years ago with guidance from our friends Ced & Fred Dolder. That was an awesome experience.

Taking those classes was the best decision we've made in awhile. Orienteering was included for a half day too!
